8. The Steroid Trial
The trial of Vince McMahon's life, and the occasion which exposed the WWF. Things were never the same again, Hogan left, McMahon very nearly went to prison, and another era of ordinary bodies all of a sudden developed in WWF events.It was 1993, and McMahon was arraigned on charges of circulating steroids to wrestlers. Essentially they had him down as a huge street pharmacist.
McMahon conceded he had utilized steroids himself as a part of the 80's, yet precluded all charges from securing dealership. Star witness Hulk Hogan likewise expressed McMahon never sold steroids. Vince was cleared, yet out of the blue, it wasn't the enormous collection of Hogan of Ultimate Warrior on top of WWF cards, it was the leaner Shawn Michaels and Bret Hart. The 80's toon period of wrestling was dead.
